The Rock’s First Baptisms

Sunday, September 20th will always be a special day for two young men who chose to follow Jesus and be baptized. Brendan Adrian and Jonathan Davies will also be remembered as the first to be baptized at The Rock Church!

It was a very special day for family and friends, some of whom traveled from Chilliwack and Salt Spring Island to be here to celebrate the commitment to follow Jesus that these young men made.

Both young men shared their personal testimonies during our gathering at the Eagle Eye Community Theatre and then it was off to Alice Lake for the official baptisms. Prior to being immersed in the lake by pastor Glenn, Rod Adrian, Brendan’s father gave and word of encouragement to his son and Janice Davies, Jonathan’s mother, gave the same for her son.
