Unto You a Savior is Born!

This year’s Squamish Santa Claus Parade almost didn’t happen in Squamish, but thanks to some very determined men and women the parade did happen and it was a huge blessing and encouragement to the whole town of Squamish!

The Rock Church entered our first ever float into the parade and our Nativity scene that included all of the Biblical characters and our carol singing worship team did a wonderful job and were warmly received all along the parade route.

The parade began at the Squamish Yacht Club and then proceeded up 2nd Avenue to Pemberton and then straight up Cleveland Avenue past a very great crowd of happy children, parents and people of all ages.

Special thanks to Carla Siemens for organizing the whole thing, her helpful husband Paul for his big part, Joe Lok for building the Stable, all the kids, young and older who played the Biblical characters and Andrew, Nick & Katrina for leading our carol singing while their fingers froze!
