In this week’s message podcast we continue our study in the Gospel of Matthew from verses 4:1-11.

The first three chapters of Matthew’s Gospel have been the introduction to the King of the Jews, the Messiah, Jesus Christ into this world. Next up the herald, John the Baptizer fulfills his calling by baptizing Jesus, and after the conformation of the Holy Spirit who descends as a dove and the voice of God the Father from Heaven proclaiming, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased—Jesus is now led into the wilderness by the same Spirit to be tempted by the devil

The outcome will determine our very future and is a key lesson in how to become a true disciple of Jesus!
