In this week’s podcast we continue our Life’s Biggest Questions series with our third message and question—How Can I Believe in a God Who Allows Suffering and Evil?
How could there be just one true religion? Aren’t all religions equally good and valid? Aren’t Christians arrogant and exclusive for believing that they’re right and everyone else is wrong?
At The Rock Church we believe that there is no better time than the present to learn to talk about the big questions of life in more tolerant and respectful ways.

The sufferings of unbelievers are often used by the Holy Spirit to cause them to realize their needs of salvation and to turn to Christ in repentance and faith. The sufferings of Christians should always be the means of developing a stronger dependence on God and a more Christ-like character, if they are properly “exercised thereby” (Hebrews 12:11).
God is loving and merciful, even when, “for the present,” He allows trials and sufferings to come in our lives.
“For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Great sermon!
