Join us this week as we resume our series in the Gospel of Matthew from verse 5:43-48 and hear what Jesus has to say about Loving your neighbour and hating your enemies.

Chapter 5 begins what can only be categorized as the greatest sermon ever preached, by anyone, at any time—The Sermon on the Mount and Beginning with the Beatitudes!

This week we move on to see how Jesus explains the last of 6 antithetical statements of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. The religious legalists, leaders and elite of that day had taken the very Laws of God and adapted them to their liking and keeping—Jesus first discusses the commandment on murder and surprises his audience even more with his teaching on adultery and the law regarding divorce, oaths, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Now, it’s the conclusion of the chapter and—The Supremacy of Love!
