What Ultimate Authority?

Every debate, discussion or decision that we either make or agree to is based on someone’s appeal to a higher authority. The question is—whose authority? In an age when the idea of an ‘ultimate’ authority has been virtually dismissed, the truth is we appeal to one everyday. What does the bible have to say about this? What does Jesus have to say? This Sunday we’ll see the temple “authorities” in Jerusalem asking Jesus this very question.
