Glenn Davies - Lead Pastor

Glenn spent 30 years in the marketplace, starting and building several business ventures. Then, in the summer of 2006, he answered the call to pastoral ministry and to planting a new church in Squamish.

He and his wife Janice, a registered nurse, moved to Squamish in February 2009 with two of their three sons, Matthew and Jonathan. Their eldest son, Andrew a Sr. Network Administrator for a technology company in Vancouver, is married to Davina, also a registered nurse and lives in Port Moody, BC.

“First and foremost when it comes to ministry and the church, I love God’s Word and consider it the greatest responsibility and privilege to faithfully preach His Word,” says Glenn. “Secondly, calling men to be real men, leaders who love and honour women, the Lord and His church, this is my passion!”

Matt Davies - Pastor of Discipleship Ministries

Matt spent 3 years in his early 20′s with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) leading missionary teams into southeast Asia. Based in Maui, Matt led teams of young DTS (Discipleship Training School) students into many countries including Thailand, Borneo, Nepal and Indonesia.

At The Rock Church Matt is leading our Discipleship Outreach Teams as they reach out and connect with young men and women, leading them to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

Young men and women with past missionary or YWAM experience are being invited to Squamish to be a part of the Discipleship Outreach Team, living in downtown Squamish, engaging in our training program and connecting with local young men and women in community.
