<itunes:summary>Weekly sermon audio from The Rock Church in Squamish, BC and Lead Pastor Glenn Davies. The Rock Church in Squamish, BC is a new expression of a 2,000 year-old movement called ekklesia in the Greek world of that day, but more familiar to us today as—the church.

We are followers of the one true Jesus Christ, who love God, love our neighbours and love Squamish. We value Jesus above all, authenticity, creativity and generosity and seek to engage our culture with the amazing grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We don’t pretend to have our lives all together, but we do turn our lives over to an awesome God who does.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>In this week’s message podcast we continue our study of the the Gospel of Matthew from 7:7-12 and hear what Jesus has to say about asking, seeking and knocking.

Chapter 7 continues what can only be categorized as the greatest sermon ever preached, by anyone, at any time—The Sermon on the Mount and beginning with the Beatitudes in Chapter 5!

The religious legalists, leaders and elite of that day had taken the very Laws of God and adapted them to their liking and keeping and now Jesus turns his attention back to the subject of prayer and how to ask God for the spiritual needs that we have to live out the character traits of true disciples and how to seek after them and keep on knocking!
