Vision 2018 decision & Ledge updating

We're so grateful to our entire church family for their encouragement and enthusiasm for this next phase for our church. As promised a big part of The Decision to move to our building downtown while praying and searching for the ideal 3rd location, is to make the necessary investment to update The Ledge for Sunday gatherings. That investment will include volunteer and financial investment. Any financial help above and beyond regular giving would be much appreciated. You can give online here. 

Below are the key areas we are working on with the costs as well as a Volunteer Sign-up Form!

Second Floor

  1. Carpeting/underlay of the upstairs hallway (Incl. removal of floor tiles) - $2500.00
  2. Replace all lights with LED to reduce heat and costs - $250.00 (covered)

Ground Floor

  1. Replace all lights with LED to reduce heat and costs - $300.00 (covered)
  2. Repair damaged walls (mud) and paint where necessary - $200.00 (paint, mud, etc.) (covered)
  3. Ventilation & HVAC solution • $18,000.00 - $21,000.00

2) KidsRock - Sunday School • Darrell Koopmans

  1. Help Glenn, Darrell and YoungLife to clear out 2nd floor offices
  2. Organize team (current leaders ++) to plan each room for best use
  3. Choose best room for Nursery AV setup
  4. Determine furnishing and decorating needs for each room
    1. Purchase (Craigslist etc.) needed furnishings • $2500.00
  5. Purchase (Craigslist, etc.) iMac for Sunday sign-ins • $1000.00 (not needed for now)
  6. Help team recruit more teachers & helpers • NEEDED!

3) Sunday gathering essentials

Second Floor

  1. Purchase and install two TV's - overflow and nursery • $2250.00 (covered)
  2. Purchase new seating for overflow area (24) • $1000.00 
  3. Connect pre-wired ethernet to all TV's upstairs • $500.00 (covered)

Ground Floor

  1. Install two additional stage lights for message video recording • On loan to start
  2. Install ceiling bracket for Mevo video camera • $100.00 for brackets and wiring (not needed)
  3. Install additional basic HD camera for upstairs video feed • $300.00 (covered)
  4. Plan seating arrangement (combo tables, chairs, for 80 people) • $1000.00
