Revelation: A Preview • Part I, Prophecy, Various Scripture, June 7, 2026

This Sunday, Pastor Glenn will begin a new four-part mini-series titled Revelation—A Preview of The End of History. The purpose of this series is to prepare us for a future, verse-by-verse exposition of the Book of Revelation starting this fall by establishing a biblical theology of prophecy and the end times. The goal is not merely to satisfy curiosity about the future, but to cultivate faithful, hopeful, discerning, and worshipful disciples of Jesus Christ. More and more, thoughtful Christians and even non-Christians are asking, “Are we in what the Bible calls the end times?” Current geopolitical gyrations and cultural ideologies are creating a sense that human history may be reaching a breaking point. We hope you will join us as we look to Scripture for answers, and for the encouragement that King Jesus is on the throne and coming back soon!

Mark: Freedom 155—Your Best Life Forever!, 8:31—9:1, May 24, 2026

Today we continue our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. We conclude Part I in our series and our Study Guides with a continuation of the pivotal moment that we heard about last Sunday between Jesus and the apostle Peter. After Peter’s profession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, Jesus makes the first of several statements declaring that the Messiah must suffer and die. Well, Peter’s response to that news provokes a strong rebuke from Jesus and, as we will learn, the call therefore that Jesus has for those who would follow Him. Mark: A Sight For Blurry Eyes, 8:22-30, May 17, 2026

We continue our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week we will continue in chapter 8 and arrive at a pivotal point in Mark’s Gospel and Part I of our study. Building on last week’s look at the spiritual blindness of the Pharisees and the blurred understanding of the apostles, we see how the Holy Spirit reveals the depths of our own blindness. Join us for a powerful lesson on the transition from darkness to sight—learning what it looks like to see reality as it truly is. Mark: Sign of The Times, 8:11-21, May 10, 2026

We continue our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn will continue for us in chapter 8 following on from the feeding of the 4000 last Sunday. The passage that follows is connected to this story, as we will see, despite Jesus and His disciples taking a boat trip back across the Sea of Galilee and to familiar Jewish territory. As He arrives guess who’s waiting for Him? The Pharisees of course and, as we will learn, they have pointed questions for Jesus. Today we continue our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week Mark takes us to the next event in the life of Jesus as he leaves the region of Tyre, travels through Sidon and arrives in the Decapolis. As Jesus arrives, he encounters a man who is both deaf and has a speech impediment. This man has been brought by his friends who clearly care for him and are hoping that Jesus will be able to heal him. Join us as we as we learn about how Jesus personally interacts with this man. It's another great story of redemption and restoration. Read Mark 7:31-37 in advance to prepare, and remember to bring your Study Guides!

Mark: Everyone's Welcome Here, 7:24-30, April 19, 2026

This Sunday, we continue our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn will take us further into Mark chapter 7, with the story about an interaction between Jesus and a woman whose child is possessed by a demon. This is a pivotal moment in the gospel of Mark and in the ministry of Jesus. Moving beyond the Sea of Galilee and His primary ministry hub in Capernaum, Jesus enters a region that—while physically close—is culturally and religiously distinct from the Jewish world where He has been preaching. There are powerful lessons to be found in this encounter. Read Mark 7:24-30 in advance to prepare, and remember to bring your Study Guides!

Mark: The Heart of All Our Problems, 7:8-23, April 12, 2026

We return to our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn returns to take us further in Chapter 7 which began with Jesus being questioned by the religious authorities, the Pharisees and the Scribes. They wondered why the disciples of Jesus didn’t adhere to their traditions of ritual cleansing, specifically, handwashing before a meal. Our passage for this week is the continuation of this story where we will see and hear how Jesus responds to them and teaches them and us what ‘The Heart of All of Our Problems’ is. Mark: Our Hope in God, 7:1-8. March 22, 2026

We return to our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week one of our elders, Nick Koole, will bring us the message from the beginning of chapter 7. There seems to be a shift in the tone of Mark’s gospel when we come to this chapter. So far, Mark mostly has recorded Jesus’ marvellous supernatural works as he makes his case that Jesus is the Son of God. Now, Mark reveals to us how Jesus turns His focus to what the religious leaders of the Jewish people have done with the law of God. We hope you will join us to hear this powerful and important teaching from Jesus! Read Mark 7:1-8 in advance to prepare for the message, and remember to bring your Study Guides!

2 Corinthians: It's Not About The Box, 4:5-15, March 15, 2026

This Sunday, with pastor Glenn recovering from surgery, we welcome guest speaker pastor Dave Nannery from Squamish Baptist Church to bring us a message from God’s Word. Pastor Dave will be sharing a message from the apostle Paul’s letter to the church in Corinth. Drawing from a popular text that tells us that we have “this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” - 2 Corinthians 4:7. Be sure and join us for this encouraging word at one of our two services—9:00am or 11:00am!

Mark: Learning The Way of Jesus Continues, 6:45-56, March 1, 2026

We continue in our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn takes us further in Mark’s gospel to the events that follow the feeding of the 5,000. Immediately after this great miracle, Jesus orders the 12 to get into a boat and go to the other side of Bethsaida on the northern end of the sea of Galilee. He then disperses the crowd, and he’s up the mountain to pray. It’s very late, the disciples find themselves in very strong winds and tumultuous waters. What happens next is another one of the great miracles and revelations of who Jesus really is. We do hope you will join us as we learn what happens next and why. Mark: Learning The Shepherds Way, 6:30-44, February 22, 2026

We continue in our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn opens up one of the most famous, if not the most famous miracle that Jesus ever performed other than His resurrection, the feeding of the 5,000. The passage begins with the return of the 12 from the mission Jesus had sent them on and their reports about how things went. The familiarity of this passage and the miraculous event itself often leaves us wondering, what was really happening on this day. This Sunday we will dig into the deep and marvellous purpose and meaning that Jesus had in mind. You will be encouraged. Mark: The Truth Will Not Be Silenced, 6:14-29, February 15, 2026

We continue in our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn will take us into the only account in all of Mark’s gospel not specifically about Jesus and His ministry. This account is not just of anyone, but of John the Baptist and his tragic death at the hands of Herod Antipas. Herod is not alone in this despicable affair: he is goaded on by his wife Herodias, her daughter and his pride in the face of his foolishness. Join us as we delve into this tragic story and learn some very valuable lessons about the depths of human depravity and how the characters in this soap opera of a story, resemble the human condition to this day. Mark: Called to Go, 6:7-13, February 8, 2026

We continue in our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Rudi will continue in chapter 6 where Mark moves quickly from the events in Nazareth and in the synagogue to the sending of His twelve apostles on a journey marked with preaching, healing, casting out of demons and unclean spirits. On this journey Jesus gives them very specific instructions on what and what not to take with them, how to dress, where to stay and for how long, and much more. Join us as we discover what the purpose and meaning of this commissioning was and is. Read Mark 6:7-13 in advance to prepare for the message, and bring your Study Guides!

Mark: The Offence of Jesus, 6:1-6, February 1, 2026

We continue in our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn takes us into chapter 6 where we learn about Jesus' return to His hometown of Nazareth. Jesus and His disciples arrive in time for the Sabbath where He takes the opportunity to teach in the synagogue. The response He receives is far from that of the 'Hometown Hero.' Instead, they all take offence at Him and the question has to be, why? Join us this Sunday to find out why, as well as discover, why people take offence of Him to this day! Mark: That Which Leads to Saving Faith, 5:21-43, January 25, 2026`

This Sunday, we continue in our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week pastor Glenn returns to take us further into chapter 5 where we find Jesus encountering a desperate father, a ruler of the synagogue whose 12 year old daughter is dying, as well as a very desperate woman who has had an issue of blood for 12 years. As in the previous two passages where the authority and power of Jesus was on display over storms and the demonic, this passage highlights two marvellous examples of His healing power! Read Mark 5:21-43 in advance to prepare for the message, and remember to bring your Study Guides!
