REVELATION, THE UNVEILING OF JESUS CHRIST

Few books of the Bible have generated as much fascination, confusion, debate, and even fear as the Book of Revelation. For some, Revelation has become a puzzle to be solved or a codebook for predicting current events. For others, it is an intimidating book best avoided altogether. Yet neither of these approaches reflects the purpose for which God gave this final book of Scripture to the church. Revelation was not written to satisfy human curiosity about the future but to strengthen the faith of God's people in every generation. In a very real sense then, Revelation is about discipleship. It calls believers to steadfastness in times of persecution, unwavering loyalty to Jesus Christ amid cultural compromise, joyful confidence in God's sovereign rule over history, and eager anticipation of the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
