About Kingdom Current

Many pastors utilize a blog as a means to communicate with the church that they have been called to shepherd. They do so to provide further thoughts on sermons, recommended book reviews, answer questions and provide pastoral insight and guidance on issues that concern their local church family. Having done that in the past I have felt led to embark on launching a podcast in the near future to better accomplish that goal.

More background will be offered in the “Inaugural Podcast" which, Lord willing, will launch later this summer, about the vision and purpose that I feel the Holy Spirit has put on my heart for Kingdom Current. In short, the vision and focus for Kingdom Current will be to highlight and amplify pastors, churches, authors and other Christian leaders whose ministries exemplify the Expansion of the Kingdom of God today. Today, I would like to begin with one of the features that I hope will be a part of a weekly update on the Kingdom Current podcast which are further thoughts and insights that have come to my mind related to the previous Sunday’s message, as well as quick highlights from podcasts and articles that I have come across.
