As we return to the Gospel of Luke we find Jesus has been invited to dinner at the home of Simon the Pharisee. His motives become clear during the meal when a woman of the city appears and begins to wash, anoint and kiss Jesus’ feet. Tension builds and then Jesus teaches Simon a lesson!
