Luke: From Rags to Riches, 16:19-31, April 5, 2020
We continue in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus ends the chapter with one final concluding parable in His most recent encounter with the religious Pharisees. It's His most loving and yet challenging parable yet. It's about life and death, Heaven and hell, and the ultimate question the we all have, "Is there life after death?" Jesus has just concluded another parable aimed at teaching the Pharisees and all those who thought that their religion, the keeping of rules and regulations would save them, that they, once again had it wrong. This week we continue in the Gospel of Luke and chapter 16:1-13 with another one of Jesus' parables. After 3 consecutive parables aimed at the religious Pharisees and people like them, this parable Jesus directs to his disciples. The Pharisees are still lurking about but the message is for those who have chosen to follow Him. It's a challenging message, especially for our day and certainly our current times. It is also quite relevant and we hope, helpful.

This week we continue in the Gospel of Luke and chapter 15:11-32 with one of, if not the most famous, parable of Jesus. This is the 3rd parable that Jesus teaches following the events at yet another dinner party. This final parable is certainly the most powerful and important of them all and give us great insights into the way of salvation for both the immoral and moralistic.
