Daniel: 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, Daniel 9-10, Matthew 6:3-15, January 5, 2025

This Sunday, we return to our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week we will revisit chapters 9 & 10 where we will recall Daniel's great prayer seeking God keep his promise to rescue the exiles from Babylonian exile. His prayer is answered along with the prophecy of seventy weeks to come. That's followed by Daniel's 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting in chapter 10 which will bring us up to date and lead into our 21 Days of Prayer Fasting starting next week. Resolution 2024: Looking Back, Praying Forward, Various Scripture, December 29, 2024

On this Sunday we and as 2024 comes to an end, we take time to Look Back at what the Lord has accomplished through us this past year. Pastor Glenn also gives us 10 Ways to Be Resolved from the Scripture as we head into a New Year. Finally, we will Dream Forward into the New Year by introducing our plans to enter into 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting to hear from the Lord of His will and direction for our ministry in the next year and season. Advent: Celebrate Christmas Part III, Luke 1:26-38, December 22, 2024

This Sunday, we continue our Annual Advent Series, this year titled Celebrate Christmas. Join us as we look deeper into one of the church's most sacred doctrines—The Incarnation, the supernatural act of God whereby the eternal Son of God became flesh (John 1:14). Last week we considered the story of the shepherds who were visited by an angel and told they would find a new born baby, in a manger, somewhere in Bethlehem. It is recorded that they said, "Let's go and see this thing that has happened." This thing being the most significant event ever to happen in human history, the birth of God's Son, Jesus Christ. Join us this Sunday as we discover why it is important to believe in the virgin birth and how it is that Jesus is fully man, while remaining fully God!

We continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week we will conclude chapter 9 of Daniel and arrive at one of the most significant prophecies in possibly the whole Old Testament. After perceiving in the books of the prophet Jeremiah that 70 years has now passed for the exiles in Babylon, Daniel records for us His heart felt prayer of confession and repentance on behalf of his own people. We continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week pastor Glenn will take us into chapter 9 of Daniel and a pivotal point in the whole book. After years of historical narrative and many dreams and visions, Daniel is moved to prayer, deep prayer after 'perceiving in the books,' the prophecies of Jeremiah, a significant message for the exiles in Babylon. Again there are animals, specifically a ram and a goat that also relate directly to specific kingdoms to come as prophesied by Daniel. As well there are more horns and another 'little horn.' This Sunday, we continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week we conclude chapter 7 of Daniel. As we discovered last week, Daniel has had a dream and visions of the night which he describes in nightmarish terms. The chapter concludes with Daniel telling us about an angel who comes to help interpret his dream for him. What is revealed is also alarming to Daniel as it pertains to the future, a future that both terrifies Daniel and gives him hope in the sovereignty of his God. Daniel: The Truth About All This • Part I, 7:1-14, October 27, 2024

Today, we continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week we move into chapter 7 of Daniel. In this chapter Daniel takes us back 12 years to the time of Belshazzar to tell us about a shocking dream and 'visions of the night' that he had. Chapter 7 also marks a shift in the book from the historical narratives we've been hearing about to the prophetic, to the future! Daniel: A Real Man Among Lions, 6:1-28, October 20, 2024

This Sunday, we continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week we move into chapter 6 of Daniel and one the most famous stories from the whole book—The Lions Den! The Babylonian Empire has come to an end as prophesied in chapter 2 with King Darius the Mede holding court. What leads to Daniel being thrown to the lions is a lesson so applicable to our current day, it's all about two things: the law of the jungle and the politics of cancel culture! Daniel: The Hand Writing is on The Wall, 5:1-31, October 13, 2024

We continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week pastor Glenn will take us into chapter 5 of Daniel where we're introduced to King Nebuchadnezzar's grandson and discover an example of when the apple falls, sadly, far from the tree. This week as we move into chapter 3 we discover that, despite Nebuchadnezzar's acclaim of Daniel's God, it appears he's learned little as he succumbs to a prideful episode that results in the famous Fiery Furnace for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
