Acts: Justice Delayed, Acts 24, April 19, 2015

In this week's passage the apostle Paul finds himself in prison and under trial before the Governor of Judea, Felix. The trumped charges against him are easily defended by Paul's excellent oratory skills but the key to the story is Felix's inability to make a decision. Man's justice may be delayed, but as we will learn, God's never is.

Easter Sunday: Evidences of The Resurrection, John 20:1-31, April 5, 2015

Easter Sunday is the day that Christians celebrate the literal resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ. Since that day, doubtful and full on skeptics have tried to proof it never happened. In today's message we offer Evidences of The Resurrection!

Acts: How to Stay Awake in Church 20:1-16, March 1, 2015

In this week's passage we find a story that just begs the question, "Why is this here." The apostle Paul leaves Ephesus for Corinth and then on his way back stops in Troas to visit the church there. He starts preaching and just keep going until midnight we are told and the result is young man falls asleep and falls out a window to his death. Why indeed is this story here?

Acts: A Dangerous Faith 19:21—20:1, Feb. 22, 2015

Here's an amazing follow up story to the work of ministry that the apostle Paul and the disciples have been up to in Ephesus for the past 3 years. In an idol worshipping culture that was steeped in spiritual darkness, the light of the Gospel had broken through thanks to the faithful and committed ministry of Paul and the disciples. Now, in this passage we see the response of the culture in that day and see how eerily similar it is to the response we see today.

Acts: From Darkness to Light 19:8-20, Feb. 15, 2015

After Apollos is commissioned to go to Corinth to minister to the church there, the apostle Paul returns to Ephesus. He arrives at a time in the history of this ancient city when it was steeped in goddess worship, the occult and demonic activity of every kind. It was a very dark time and place. Listen as we learn how the apostle Paul and the few disciples who are there storm the gates of darkness bringing the people from Darkness to Light!

Acts: Faithful Disciples Who Make Disciples 18:23—19:7 Feb. 8, 2015

Dr. Luke, the author of the Book of Acts, leaves the story of the apostle Paul as he embarks on his 3rd church planting journey, and introduces us to a man named Apollos. His story is the testimony of how Faithful Disciples Who Make Disciples know the word of God when they hear it, produce disciples who make disciples and, protect the unity of the Spirit in the church!
