We return to our series from the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. This week one of our elders, Nick Koole, will bring us the message from the beginning of chapter 7. There seems to be a shift in the tone of Mark’s gospel when we come to this chapter. So far, Mark mostly has recorded Jesus’ marvellous supernatural works as he makes his case that Jesus is the Son of God. Now, Mark reveals to us how Jesus turns His focus to what the religious leaders of the Jewish people have done with the law of God.
